Marilyn presented at University of Texas – Arlington, as part of Visiting Writer Series, organized by Professor Bruce Krajewski, English Studies Chairman. She read many excerpts from her work, including “Blues on Yellow” and “Fox Girl.”

Addressing an auditorium full of students in creative writing, Professor Chin encouraged them to set deadlines for themselves and be patient with their work.
