Marilyn was one of the Featured Speakers at the Create Writing Conference at the University of Montana in Missoula. Organized by Professor Prageeta Sharma, herself a poet of distinction, this year’s much anticipated conference was titled Thinking Its Presence: Race, Creative Writing, and Literary Study. Its central theme was the Racial Imagery.
