Marilyn has been awarded a fellowship by the Civitella Ranieri Foundation and spent six weeks at their beautiful Umbertide location in Umbria, Italy. Marilyn joined a diverse group of authors, musicians, and visual artists from across the globe. Each fellow had an opportunity to work on their craft in a retreat-like setting, followed by presentations of their work-in-progress and high-spirited social interaction.
Among the 2015 fellows were Vladimir Tarnopolski, a composer from Russia, Jericho Brown, a poet from USA, and Serkan Ozkaya, a visual artist from Turkey.
